Kenneth Mattox, MD, FACS

Kenneth Mattox, MD, FACS, is the John A. Oates Professor of Surgery and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He is also the Director of the Trauma Service at Memorial Hermann Hospital-Texas Medical Center. Dr. Mattox is a world-renowned expert in trauma care, and he has published over 500 scientific articles and book chapters. He is the author of several books, including Trauma: A Comprehensive Emergency Medicine Approach and Critical Care Surgery.

Frederick Feliciano, MD, FACS

Frederick Feliciano, MD, FACS, is the Professor of Surgery and Director of the Division of Trauma, Critical Care, and Acute Care Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. He is also the Chief of Surgery at the VA San Diego Healthcare System. Dr. Feliciano is a highly experienced trauma surgeon, and he has been involved in the care of thousands of trauma patients. He is the author of numerous scientific articles and book chapters, and he is the editor of the journal Trauma Surgery & Acute Care Open.
